Simon Alexander

I’ve spent my career in the world of stories. In sound, in people and in music
After more than fifteen years behind the mic and in the studio, I’ve learned that great broadcasting isn’t about noise, it’s about connection and authenticity.
Away from the desk, my passion for film, TV, and game soundtracks runs deep. Whether it’s John Williams painting wonder in Jurassic Park, Ramin Djawadi building worlds in Game of Thrones, or Nobuo Uematsu turning pixels into poetry in Final Fantasy VII.
For me, music isn’t background. It’s a form of escape, empathy, and imagination. It’s why I’m really pleased to be here on Soundtrack Radio: to guide listeners through stories told not in the music that accompanies some of the greatest TV shows, film and games of all time.
